Motto 80 Production Update: Subassembly Preparation and Outer Ring QC

Hi everyone,

Here is this week's Motto 80 production update.

Preparing for assembly and remaining parts

We are preparing to begin assembling the parts currently available. A small number of remaining components are still awaiting delivery.

Exterior parts

The exterior parts shown below are waiting to be painted. The video below shows the outer housing components being machined.

Salt spray testing for display components

Salt spray testing is complete for the sampled display-related components. All samples tested met the specified requirements.

Grinding chamber outer ring

The first inspection round is complete for the grinding chamber outer rings from the new supplier. All samples measured during this round were within the specified dimensional tolerance and passed QC. Batch production is now underway.

Burr coating

A small batch of burrs has passed QC and is ready for coating.

Particle size testing for SweetCore and Omni

We now have the first particle size results for the SweetCore and Omni burrs. Repeat testing is underway to confirm the findings. Once the full reports are ready, we'll share the data, explain what we found, and offer practical recommendations for both burr sets.
